TVR Power is a name that many are familiar with, but despite their important part in TVR history, they're still an unknown quantity to many.

TVR Power's latest upgrade kit is for the five litre V8. It's a comprehensive kit including new trumpets, new rods and pistons, and a new valve train.

That's about to change though with the launch of their new website. Launched today, the new site aims to bring people up to speed with who they are and what they do.

TVR Power are based in Coventry and are best known for their expertise with the Rover engined TVRs. In fact TVR Power (a subsiduary of TVR) built the Rover engines use by TVR in recent years. That's very evident from their facilities, which are bursting at the seams with the precision engineering equipment used for their engine work. Their knowledge of engines isn't limited to TVR/Rover V8's however. They've worked closely with Blackpool on the more modern engines too.

These days, TVR Power concentrate on servicing (they're an approved service centre) and upgrades to V8 and Straight Six TVRs. They're very much a hands on bunch - you won't find any neatly manicured salesmen there!
