Well, the Gallardo body is built by Audi in Neckarsulm and has four-wheel drive. The only incredible thing is that it's taken this long in the 'baby' Lambo's life to realise it might make a good rally car.
The amazing thing? It actually does, no matter how incongruous the sight might be. OK, you might have trouble sneaking a 5.0-litre V10 past WRC scrutineers looking for a 1.6-litre turbo four-cylinder.
From supercars in farm yards to supercars on forest roads, there seems to be a bit of a trend growing here. Who knows, one day someone might actually drive one on a circuit...
