Shed manifesto: A Skoda in every garage...
Comrades, for too long PistonHeads has been a den of iniquity! Shed Of The Week, in particular, has become a pit of capitalist greed, where we have been tempted by the wasteful excesses of a string of decadent luxo-barge Sheds.
No more. With this, the Skoda Estelle, the socialist revolution of the People's Republic of Shed begins. The tyrannical reign of BMWs, Mercedes-Benzes and Imperialist Jaguars is over.
In all seriousness, though, this little slice of Czech cold-war history is an incredibly tidy piece of kit. According to the advert, this 1981 Estelle 105 saloon has had just one owner, and has been dry-stored in a heated, carpeted garage for the past eight years.
It has also been 'sympathetically' restored (which does beg the question as to what an unsympathetic restoration is), receiving new wings and sills and a full respray in the original colour. The vendor has also rather thoughtfully included a spares package with the sale.
...an Estelle on every street
The little Skoda is also a pretty rare beast now. There are apparently barely 600 Estelles left running on UK roads, even though more than 120,000 were sold between 1977 and 1990, so to find one in this sort of condition has got to be pretty unusual.
With just 44bhp on tap, the rear-engined Estelle isn't going to waste all (or any) challengers at the traffic light GP, but come the revolution we'll all be driving one, so why not get some early practice in?

Skoda estelle 105 S 4 door, first registered in November 1981.
The car has ONE previous owner and has been dry stored in a heated, carpeted garage for eight years.
The car has undergone a sympathetic restoration including two new front wings, inner, outer and middle sills, re-painted back in the original colour with a full copper brake pipe re-build.
The interior is fully complete and in very good condition. the original jack, toolkit and service books are included.
There is also a small spares package included in the sale, details on request.
