Yes, another Renaultsport build thread, but with good reason. Cars like the Megane featured here are near enough unbeatable when it comes to combining value, performance and dynamics out of the box - before the aftermarket is even considered.
As can be seen, though, PHer 'Funny username' - yep, really - has been to town on their Megane 265 with a host of extra goodies. And we're pretty keen on the result, so here it is.
Purchased last year (after two previous hot Meganes as well), it's been subject to a raft of modifications since then. Power and torque now stand at 340hp and 330lb ft respectively thanks to new turbo, bigger injectors, a Milltek exhaust and ITG induction work. That's all kept in check with Nitron coilovers, Toyo R888R tyres plus uprated pads, lines and fluid. Meanwhile the interior features Recaro Pole Position seats, a GDF half cage, a CAE shifter and an Alcantara trimmed wheel. As a dedicated 'Clubsport' build, it could hardly be better suited to the name.
With track days back on, our PHer has already been to Donington this week, with more planned - as well as further modifications, of course. We look forward to seeing how it progresses!
