Having any new car delivered - let alone a 911 GT3 - is always a joyous moment, but what about being on the receiving end of 18 of Stuttgart's finest? That's exactly the privileged position in which a man in the Netherlands found himself, having ordered a fleet of GT3s in 2015, supposedly for use on a racetrack. Unfortunately for the owner, that racetrack was never built and the fleet of cars was left undriven.
His loss can be your gain though, with all 18 cars now up for sale
on Marktplaats
, a Dutch classifieds site. All of the cars have never been driven and are identical in spec - white with black interior and fitted with the Club Sport Package. The price for this fleet? €2.4 million. Or, if your pockets don't go so deep, the vendor is willing to sell individual cars for €134,500.
The Club Sport package offered a roll cage, a six-point harness, ready to install fire extinguisher and preparation for a battery master switch, perfect to make your 911 ready for the track. Some may be disappointed that the brakes aren't carbon ceramics, but think of the costs if a set of those discs needed replacing.
Looking through the classifieds, a LHD GT3 in white with a little over 1,000 miles is up for sale for £144,950, meaning there's a bargain, or 18, to be had for anyone lucky enough to find their assets suitably thawed this winter!
