A new independent servicing and tuning company for Porsches has opened for business at Silverstone, with even a Carrera GT making its way to 'the Home of British Motor Racing' for regular attention.
Fearnsport has been set up by marque experts Andy Fearns and Dom Colbeck to specialise in RS, GT and Turbo series Porsches. Its 2,200 sq. ft workshop is at Silverstone circuit, Northamptonshire, close to a wealth of specialist motorsport suppliers.
The company reckons it's got the latest diagnostic and servicing equipment, and offers all services from routine maintenance to full race car preparation. It's a member of the official Porsche trade parts programme, ensuring support and assistance from Porsche itself.
“We see ourselves as the spiritual home of the super -- or über -- Porsche,” said Fearns. “Everyone here has a close connection with Porsche Motorsport or with owning, driving or maintaining the fastest Porsche road cars. We would never turn away a Porsche of any kind, but our hearts definitely lie with the more interesting models. We must be one of the few independents trusted to look after a Carrera GT.”
The labour rate is £65 per hour, with menu pricing on standard parts and servicing.
