It's hard to pinpoint exactly when it began, but it's now become impossible to talk about Porsche's Motorsport road cars without at some point mentioning availability and value - see? Done it already. Which is a shame, really, because it diverts attention away from them being some of the very best sports cars around.
Fortunately, PHer 'baronbennyt' - or just Ben - is using his 991.1 GT3 RS exactly as its maker intended, with loads of miles covered on both road and track. Meaning that's all we need to talk about; which is good, because that's all we want to talk about as far as GT3s are concerned...
Since picking it up last May, Benny and his GT3 have been all over: track days at Castle Combe and Goodwood, plus trips abroad to Le Mans and the Nurburgring. It doesn't stay still for long! This year has seen the RS upgraded with Surface Transforms ceramic brake kit, some Manthey Racing suspension work and a fresh set of Cup 2 Michelins. Weather permitting, they're all set for a workout at the Nordschleife come September. Ben, we can't wait to see how you get on!
