Porsche 914-6: Time For Tea?

"I can't say it's beautiful, it's just interesting". That's the view of Jack Griffin, a Porsche 914/6 owner featured in this Petrolicious vid. Well, styling always comes up in the discussion of 914s at some point, so why not deal with it first?

Regardless, Jack is rather enamoured by his little Porsche. Purchased in 1976 as a six-year-old car and his first Porsche, Jack has kept hold of it ever since. That's more amazing given that he buys and sells plenty of cars, proud of the fact he's "probably had 20" 356s and a factory 911 RSR. Apparently nobody has ever wanted to buy the 914 from Jack so he's simply kept hold of it.

To see Jack so enthusiastic about his car after nearly 40 years is fantastic. He has a stunning racing story too that involves 914s and Sebring but we'll let Jack tell you that one.
