The Suzuki Ignis Sport is one of those forgotten junior hot hatches that we at PH can't help but admire. It was, of course, the predecessor to the Suzuki Swift Sport, a car that's now in its third generation and second decade on sale. By combining light weight with a rev happy engine and Japanese reliability, the little Ignis has forged a reputation for offering cheap, fast fun on four wheels.
A firm advocate of the Ignis Sport cause is PHer 'Rogue86'; having used a silver Ignis Sport until the bottom end let go, it was replaced with the red one you see here. Besides a tracking issue (and the very uneven tyre wear that came with it), the car has been fault-free. With that sorted the car is back to its best, Rogue enjoying the car for its cheap and simple nature.
What might be most pleasing about this thread, though, is the amount of PHers also getting involved and sharing their affection for the small Suzuki. There are Ignises ready for rallying and the track, plus plenty of stories from previous owners. Do you have experience of an Ignis? Here's the thread to get involved with!
