For any petrolhead your final journey in a car is going to be an important one, so it's always been a disappointment to the more morbid of us in the PH office that so many Britons shuffle off this mortal coil in tatty Ford Scorpios and old Volvos.
Even the lucky ones will only make that last trip in a Merc E-class or nice-but-dull Jaguar or Daimler conversion.
This, then, is one reason why it might be good to die in Italy - because there you seem to have a chance of being carried off in this Maserati Quattroporte, which sounds good to us. Forget Fauré's requiem - 4.2-litres of Italian V8 is all we'd want for a send-off...
The only thing we don't know is - well - the first thing about it. So if there are any PHers out there who can shed light on what is probably Europe's fastest hearse (and certainly its coolest), do enlighten us...
