What's in your car collection? My personal assemblage includes a Lancia Delta S4, Porsche 911 GT1, Aston Martin DB5 and Mercedes-AMG GT3, but there are many others that I have my eye on. Dozens, in fact, that I would buy in a heartbeat if only I had the money, or the space to store them.
That's the thing about models, though. In theory, they allow those of us without the ways or means to buy the real deal to own a little piece of our dream machines. The reality, however, is that they can quickly throw up similar quandaries. On a far smaller scale, naturally.
But, as with their full-size counterparts, that doesn't deter PHers from adoring them - as today's Thread of the Week shows. Over the course of 12 years and 144 pages, forum users of all persuasions have shared their pint-size pride and joys. From Spark, Ottomobile and Minichamps collectors, to Airfix aficionados, via a professional model ship builder, who spends up to a year designing his historically-accurate recreations, the resulting thread is something quite spectacular.
So dig out your old Hot Wheels, dust off your favourite scale model, or snap a picture of your current work in progress, and share them all in the thread below.
