⭕ VEHICLE SUMMARY
Iconic, award winning, motorsport legend - people who love cars, love a Dolomite Sprint.
Introduced in 1973 the Dolomite Sprint was an immediate success. As the offering at the top of the already highly successful Michelotti designed Dolomite range the Sprint was intended to take on high performance offerings from the likes of Ford and BMW. To underline its sporting pedigree the Sprint had distinguishing styling embellishments such as sporty alloy wheels and was available in colours from the Triumph sports car range. The real revolution was under the bonnet though - the slant four, SOHC, multivalve engine won a Design Council award and propelled the car to 118MPH with a 0 to 60 time of 8.4 seconds. Ever since launch the Dolomite Sprint has commanded huge affection among enthusiasts and can still be seen distinguishing itself in historic motorsport.
Coming to market after 6 months with our vendor, this potential show winner that's completed fewer than 800 miles since 2018, it comes with a current MOT valid until 21.03.2026, we believe there are few Dolomite Sprints this good around. The car looks fantastic, runs and drives beautifully and comes with comprehensive history including the original bill of sale, Leyland "Passport to Service", some delightful personal records kept by the original owner and MOT certificates to help authenticate the mileage before the clock was reset. Following some restoration work around 2009 the car was placed in storage shortly afterwards and then completely restored between 2019 and 2023. The car is now finished in its original, glorious "Pimento Red" over a black interior.
