WHEN LAMBORGHINI announced in 2014 that it was replacing the Gallardo, people wondered how they could improve upon the best-selling car in their history. Its successor, the new Huracán, had some pretty big tyres to fill. But fill them it did – and then some. There’s the new seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, Lamborghini’s Dynamic Steering and Lifting System with Magneto-Rheological suspension, four-wheel drive and a new carbon fibre and aluminium chassis. On top of all this, Lamborghini had the wisdom to stick with a naturally-aspirated engine so the Huracán sounds as iconic as ever.

On the road, the Huracán snarls and roars its way up the revs as the 5.2 V10 engine delivers 610bhp to all four wheels. A comfortable drive is ensured in Strada mode, but flick that little switch to Sport mode and the Huracán turns into the famous raging bull that adorns its front. Corsa is a whole new experience that needs to be saved for the track test. But even in Corsa mode with all its enhancements, the Huracán, despite being insanely fast, is still surprisingly easy to drive. It’s also blessed with absolutely stunning looks.

This stunning supercar is finished in the epic Verde Mantis Green Metallic with the upgraded 20-inch Black Mimas Forged Alloy Wheels, Carbon Ceramic Brakes and Brake Calipers in Black. It benefits from the optional Lifting System, Magneto-Rheological Suspension, Switchable Sport Exhaust and, of course, the fantastic Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS). It also has the Rear View Parking Camera with Front and Rear Parking Sensors.

Inside finds a very special Nero Ade and Verde Fauns Bicolour Leather interior with the Lamborghini Style and Branding Packages. The detail in this interior is exquisite with green stitching on black and black stitching on green, all finished with the usual high-quality workmanship that can be expected from Lamborghini. The seats are Electric and Heated with the Lamborghini shield embossed on the headrests and the Floor Mats are Nero Ade with contrast stitching in Verde Fauns and Leather Piping.
