Cantus.
I assume these are work in progress shots while you measure for spacers between caps and strenghthening beam?
Edited to add
On further inspection I can now see spacers in the background on the centre bearing capsorry
That's right. The spacers on the front are not installed yet because I had to lower them because the edges were scratching the oilpan. That is why I also rounded the corners of the front bar.I assume these are work in progress shots while you measure for spacers between caps and strenghthening beam?

Great to see your Marshall-amp and the small lego on the chassis!
What type of engine is that?
Will you adjust the new engine position by lengthening the drive shaft?

yep ! The lego is my son's daily stuff and the marshall is my weekend toy.
Engine is the 1200 cc Ford pre-Xflow Anglia engine.
Driveshaft have to be adjusted to the engine position.
Hi
I'm at roughly the same state with my Mk2 restoration. Just about to bond the body back on after basically rebuilding the frame and suspension. I can see on one of the pictures in this post that it seems like you have some new tie rod ends at the front. I've been looking for a source for these. Any clues on where to get them ?
Thanks,
Olav, Denmark
