Big congrats to Ph'er Modernpics AKA Dom Romney for winning the Renault MSA Young Motorsport Photographer of the Year.

Congratulations to nineteen-year-old Midlands-based drag racing photographer Dominic Romney who has won the 2010 Renault MSA Young Motorsport Photographer of the Year Award.
Dom produced a strong set of images from the sport, about which the judging panel particularly liked the unusual composition and strong use of colour. "I really didn't expect to win but what a great way to end 2009 and start 2010", said Dom. "I hope it's a sign of things to come."
Not only does Dom get to join the prestigious ranks of winners of the Renault MSA Young Motorsport Photographer of the Year, but he also wins £1000 and will be presented with his prize and trophy at the prestigious MSA Night of Champions in January.
