Bit surprised by the Honda announcement that they will not have Superbike or Supersport at the NW200. Dean Harrison is putting on a brave (corporate) face on the news but I bet he's really pissed off in private.

Good to hear about the rule changes to supertwins. That was brought in as a cheap entry level class and it has become the most expensive (according to Lee on the commentary).
Imagine Harrison is pretty miffed as you say, the NW is surely a good TT shakedown as BSB is one thing, but you're rarely flat out for a long time at any UK circuit bar Thruxton or Silverstone.
What are the rule changes to SuperTwins? Be interesting to read those - have heard in the TT commentary that a SuperTwin Kawasaki 650cc will make 100 bhp, but it might survive the race, it might not. Last year's Lightweight TT was ridiculous for the numbers of breakdowns.

I don’t know the full details but Ryan Farquhar was very bitter about it when he was interviewed. What are the rule changes to SuperTwins? They did mention that they don’t think many bikes will be able to finish the second race on Saturday having already raced earlier that day.

Not surprised in some ways, He was making good money supplying half the field with Kawasakis when it was that, the SV 650 (which never seems to be competitive in SuperTwins tune), and oddities like the Ducati 800SS and Hyosung Comet GT650. Apart from the big boys nobody really races a Paton. I have heard chat that it's his engines that make big power...but don't live long to enjoy it. The Yamaha and Aprilia have rather pulled the rug from under him as they are faster and more powerful out the box.

Talking over everything! "They're coming up to station corner, let's listen for the revs rise as they tip in" then he keeps talking until they're through the corner...Similarly after the very first race, in the winners enclosure, 2 guys discussing their race which would have been great to listen to, except thar chatting about Stavros' plane is apparently more interesting...
