Let me get this right, two consenting adults had an affair. any more to this?
Should I be outraged?
Depends. How gullible are you? Should I be outraged?

Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal.

no you shouldn't be - however when his whole schtick was being a wholesome 'family guy' whilst he's banging some teen then a degree of opprobrium can be expected. Can't keep it in his pant Bozo (rightly) gets pilloried for his philandering why should the hypocritical schofield be given a free pass?Should I be outraged?
Mmm, if the lad was 18 or 19 then he's a teenager but like I said, two consenting adults...
Honestly, I can't be bothered by this and it makes me wonder if 'we're' all being a bit puritanical.
He claimed he was gay a while back so it's no shock to the family and the whole country* got behind him, ahem.
I'd imagine but if he's been told to go there's a large slice of hypocrisy going on somewhere

- perhaps most of the country, maybe, perhaps.

Depends if you think starting a relationship with a child (he was 10 when he joined PS's theatre company) who he later goes on to have sex with is predatory grooming or not. Seeing has he's now admitting he lied about everything else but is asking us to believe he didn't meet the boy until he was 15 and didn't have sex with him until he was above the age of consent I'm not sure if I can believe him. Should I be outraged?

In this time of hilarious brass-neckery, is this really the Daily Mail whining about someone lying to them? Oh, sorry guys, I forgot that was your job. paulmakin said:

but, Does that sound like EH knew ? What action did he take if so ?
If he knew and did nothing himself then isnt the tweet a little bit pot/kettle ?

His career might be over, but at least for him he’s already made his ££ millions. Whereas if a normal persons career suddenly ended it could be financially devastating for them.
Schofield will no doubt disappear with his ££ millions from public life and could live anywhere he wants in the world, never to be seen again. Or if things get criminal he could find it all too much.
