Worst "I've got £1k to spend on Diamonds for the missus" thread ever.
Strange comment for a web forum where many people own Ferrari's, Lambo's, Aston's Porsche's , etc etc

As an aside, I wonder how many people who write Lambo can't actually spell Lamborghini?

I'm glad to hear it. Shame that nothing much can be done for those who have already left school, but maybe if standards in schools are raised now there will just be the one 'lost generation'.

It is by time something is done about the children in School's Spelling, Reading, Writing and Maths. I am retired now but when I first started work I could not understand how the youngsters could only Calculate or Add up something with a Calculator or use their fingers. As for their Grammar it was Atrocious.

This is likely to be the same story for Mondeo's, Fiesta's, Astra's, Golf's, Passat's, Vectra's, etc, etc.

Don't know where to start with this one hehe

The apostrophe is bad, 'panchant' is awful and as for 'defiantely' - not even sure what it was meant to be confused

Incredibly, everyone involved in the production of those goods either didn't notice the mistake or thought that it wasn't worth mentioning.

So, a team effort.

Someone should start a thread about 'phonetic spelling' (but needs a catchier title). It could feature quotes from people who know how a word sounds, but not how to write it. There was a good one a couple of days ago, on PH, where someone wrote "Q" instead of "cue" (in the theatrical sense).

I'd assess it as a complete and utter failure.
