1997 Mercedes-Benz SL500 (R129)

As I drove over to Reading yesterday morning for the new windscreen something was telling me that it would be a waste of time. Sure enough, despite having the appointment email there was no 'screen. It is on back order and Autoglass failed to inform me. Sigh.

The crack has lengthened a few more mm but I am still minded to take it if it does not turn up by 22nd. The CL is still in the bodyshop but should be ready next week, famous last words.

In better news my blister has nearly healed so plenty of walking/hiking is on the cards.

Over the weekend it's expanded a lot more to the point where I think it's best to take something else or move the ferry booking to autumn.
