As the title really.

Looking at these mega-scoots for a sensible commuter bike that can handle longer trips. They have identical engine and DCT gearbox set ups, but suspension and geometry are very different. I have previously owned two NC750X DCT’s so know the mechanical package well, and like it very much.

The X-ADV is the bigger seller, but the Forza seems to get better reviews. The Forza is fractionally cheaper and seems to attract a slightly better discount, but not enough to move the dial for me. Resales seem similar for both, though secondhand X-ADV’s seem to move on more quickly. I will be buying new or pre-registered.

I have had a short “round the block” style test ride on both (though different days and dealers, so not back to back); but it wasn’t compelling in terms of choosing between the two.

The X-ADV has more modern looks I suppose, but the Forza looks good in the black and gold option, and both to my eyes are way better than the old Integra.

Anyone have any experience of either/both?

I've no experience but the x-adv does appeal as a replacement for whenever I wear the Silverwing out (which might be some time yet).
At that price though it might need to be the main bike to justify the investment, and I'd be then looking at something else small, cheap and nasty for winter and town work.

I haven't owned either but have been considering the ADV as an ideal 2-up machine for shorter trips to scenic areas, and sometimes long range stuff to then camp in remote parts of the UK.

In particular the 2022(?) model introduced a far, far better TFT dash than the earlier models, and allegedly the facelift machine pulls more strongly in 1st, 2nd and 3rd due to changes to gearing or ECU, I can't remember which.

The sand colour is surely the best, aesthetically speaking. They are rare, the colour was only available for about one year. All it needs is an Akra or SC project system. Such a distinctive design. That is how it edges out a Forza 750, IMO.

I have a xmax 300 and my lad an adv350. While I like his adv, i think for my day to day stuff I prefer the 'normal' scooter style ride. So I may tip slightly towards the forza, i'm also slightly short of leg, so the adv style is not quite so comfortable for me.
However, i'd always fancied a x-adv, it would be a great all rounder. Well tbh, either would be great.....haven't really helped much I know biglaugh
