Bought for £2,000 in July 2016.

Great for a city car, not so great for long distances or cross country.

The handling is very responsive and quick making it excellent for pottering around town and very easy to park, although the turning circle is abysmal.

Cross country, the suspension isn't the best, one of my drop links is on the way out, but I'm sure the other ones sound just as bad over pot holes and it's not the most comfortable of cars to drive, my old Fiesta was a lot more comfortable and a more laid back car.

*

Having owned her for almost 3 and a half years I've had to replace the faulty drop link, all 3 ignition coils (2 went, I replaced the 3rd before it went), the hose for the winscreen washers, almost every single light bulb and they always go in pairs, and half the exhaust (rust). I've also got a broken boot lock which I can't afford to fix which is great, a brake fluid leak from somewhere which seems to have fixed itself temporarily, and an oil leak from the gearbox.

All in all a cute if somewhat trouble-prone car.

*

2022 update - something broke a couple of years ago and I've had to have 2 new exhaust pipes because the cats kept dying, but there was never any oil in the exhaust so I'm not sure quite what was going on there, but I've had to clean oil off my coils every month or so. About a month or so ago the muffler came off the exhaust, and a few days ago my head gasket (I think) blew completely so now she's on a waiting list for an engine rebuild
