Bought for £2,000 in July 2021 at 43,500 miles. Sold for £3,000 at 47,000 miles. Bought to tick off the desire to own a rotary before petrol ICE engines are legislated out of existence.

Absolutely in love with the car already! Steering is well weighted, the suspension dampening is nigh on perfect for the local back roads, and the engine is a joy; completely different in feel, sound and power delivery to an ordinary reciprocating engine.

Bought the car from the first owner at a bargain price. Compression test was middling to low, but the car still starts and drives perfectly fine hot or cold.

I've budgeted for a rebuild when it's needed, but even factoring in the cost of an engine rebuild at about 2.5k, the car represents fantastic value for such a unique vehicle.

The car has a SOHN adapter fitted, so no need to faff about as much with pre-mix (though some still recommend it), and SOHN should make the apex seals last longer.

Practicality is surprisingly good too. At 6 ft I can sit behind myself in the rear, access is good with the suicide rear doors, and the boot is a great size with through loading too.
