Bought for £50,200 in May 2022 at 100 miles. Sold for £24,000 at 26,200 miles. I've had my Polestar 2 for three years now. It's been practically perfect with a couple of minor niggles - I'm annoyed how Polestar cheaped out on the infotainment CPU; it should be better and faster in a car at this price. I also had a broken sun visor mirror cover that I really had to twist Volvo's arm to replace under warranty.

Otherwise it's been great. I have the car until May next year, but I certainly won't keep it; not because I don't like it, but because the residuals are so bad. I could go and buy a second hand P2 for not much more than half the balloon payment.

The car has averaged 3.2 miles/kWh - it'll dip to 2.5 on really cold or bad weather days, but goes to nearly 5 in peak summer conditions. I've done 24k miles, and the tyres still have plenty of tread.

I will probably move to something a little larger for my next car. My eldest two are pretty tall now, and if I'm transporting all three kids and my also-tall partner, the P2 is very snug.
