Handling was pretty poor, although safe for someone driving something with enough power to get themselves into trouble for the first time. It just understeered if you took liberties. Never any oversteer, not even of the lift-off variety unless you tried to provoke it with the brakes. <br/> <br/>Torquey motor though, unlike the Saxo that replaced it, which needed a good caning. Only reason I wouldn't recommend one these days is that a Saxo VTR or 106 would be far more fun round the bends.
