Overview
Exclusivity and breathtaking performance have traditionally been hallmarks of Aston Martin, and it was a shift into the modern era with the Vantage that introduced a whole new set of attributes to enhance its appeal.
The Aston Martin Vantage V8 is a sleek, high-performance sports car epitomising British luxury and engineering. Powered by a 4.3-litre V8 engine, it produces 380bhp, propelling it from 0-60 mph in around 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 175 mph.
The car features a beautifully crafted aluminium body with a front mid-mounted engine, providing near-perfect weight distribution and excellent handling. The Vantage V8's elegant design, paired with its roaring engine and finely tuned suspension, delivers an exhilarating driving experience. A later 4.7 Vantage might be a little more powerful and torquier in the mid range but it never sounds quite as feral as a 4.3, giving the earlier cars an appeal of their own.
With the above specifications, it’s no wonder that it has become one of the best-selling Aston Martins of all time and, given their relative abundance, they are more attainable than ever.
This lovely 2007 Vantage V8 has covered just under 40,000 miles in its 17-year existence and has had just one former keeper, with the current owner for the past 14 years. In that time, the owner used the car for an average of 3,000 miles per year, dropping to an average of 1,000 miles per year since the pandemic, most of which were covered during the annual trip from Scotland to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Over the winter months, or whenever the car is not in use, the vendor has kept the Aston in climate-controlled storage, helping retain its excellent condition.
