Overview
The VH-platform DB9 is one of Aston’s greatest hits - stylish, svelte and with a soundtrack that could pique the interest of even the most tone-deaf among us, it blends long-distance GT comfort with a noise that’ll make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.
Arguably, the post-facelift (2008 onward) examples are the ones to have - an upgraded Touchtronic II gearbox, wide-arched DBS-style bodywork, and a host of other upgrades make them the DB9 of choice for drivers and enthusiasts alike.
Given its bond-like style, subdued colours were often the pick of the day when specified from new, and we’d argue that one of the best is Grigio Titanio, as seen on this example. Italian style with a British accent; a combination that sounds strange on paper, but in reality, it’s a match made in heaven. Of note, this colour was available on the Aston Martin DB9 as a special order or by via the "Q by Aston Martin" bespoke personalisation service.
Beyond the colour, this DB9 has a lot going for it. Purchased by the vendor in 2015 from Aston Martin Sevenoaks and maintained exclusively by them ever since, this low-mileage example has a fantastic maintenance history, presents in outstanding condition throughout, and would make for a fantastic addition to an established car collection or the driveway of any British country manor alike.
