1998 Bentley Turbo RT 400 BHP Mulliner Spec finished in Peacock Blue with Magnolia hide interior. This particular RT was commissioned for Mr Andrew John, Director of Vickers PLC, owners of Bentley Motors, and was send to Mulliner for many special features to be fitted and when complete the car cost an eye watering £170, 000! The entire commissioning is detailed in the Mulliner order sheets which are present in the history file, just some of these features are a totally redesigned dashboard facia with Satellite navigation and roof mounted gauges, front and rear parking sensors, adjustable reading lights for all passengers, Bentley embroidered headrests and waist rails, Stainless steel kick plates, rear passenger operated front seat adjustment as well as electric rear seat adjustment, boot mounted umbrellas and ‘Winged B’ Bentley mascot. These features, along with many more features make an already limited edition RT, totally unique. Vickers kept the car for just over a year and on the 20th May 1999 the car was sold to Mr William Guinness of the renowned Guinness banking dynasty. The car has resided at his country home, Arthingworth Manor, ever since and has been chauffer driven throughout the family’s ownership. Having now covered 107, 000 miles, the car has always been maintained to the highest of standards by main agents and specialists, offered with a full and comprehensive service history including Drivers manuals, a fully stamped service book, invoices, MOT’s and factory build records.
