Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary - U.K. Supplied
We are delighted to offer this fresh addition to the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary market. Chassis #12486 is finished in Balloon White over a Blue leather interior complimented by white piping. This example was delivered new via Portman Lamborghini to a Mr. P. Carlisle of Rochdale in January 1989, optioned in the same specification it wears today.
This Countach was supplied by our sales team and subsequently prepared by our workshops in 2019 for its current custodian. The car has been used sparingly, covering just a few hundred kilometres during this ownership. In December 2021 the Countach returned to our workshops for an annual service and other works in preparation for the car to be placed into storage. Now offered for sale, the Countach presents superbly throughout and will benefit from a service and health check by Furlonger prior to being sold.
Accompanying the Countach is a well-documented service history with invoices dating back as early as 1989. The car has been meticulously maintained throughout its life, being cared for by Lamborghini main dealers and specialists such as Mike Pullen of Carrera Sport. Further, the cars history also includes numerous MOT certificates, invoices, receipts and historic registration documents.
This Countach 25th Anniversary poses an exciting opportunity to purchase one of the most renowned, distinctive and exciting classic performance cars finished in an excellent colour combination with a well recorded maintenance and ownership history from new.
The Lamborghini Countach is one of the most distinctive super-cars ever built. Designed and conceptualized by Bertone, adopting a sharply angled ‘’wedge’’ styling, this became increasingly popular as more versions were built between 1974 and 1990. Built to celebrate the company’s twenty-fifth anniversary in 1988, the car had a very similar mechanical setup to that of the 5000QV but featured some considerable changes to its body, carried out by Horacio Pagani. As the last Countach ever built, many would agree that this was the most refined and arguably the most outrageous.
