Enjoying a production run from 1948 through 1966 the 356 is a landmark postwar sportscar and a definitive expression of Ferdinand Porsche's design signature that continues to this day. The final, SC variant was the most powerful pushrod engine Porsche had produced to date (with a quoted 95bhp) and mated to such an evolved chassis configuration, that also boasted disc brakes, it meant for a refined and extremely capable sportscar. This car had the honour of being on displayed in the Atrium at Porsche Cars Great Britain before joining its last owner who carried out a full restoration during 2016 – 2018. Many original parts were sourced to complete the restoration which cost in excess of £60,000.
