1971 MGB Roadster

This MGB Roadster has been in the same family for 30 years during which time it was treated to a total restoration which has included the fitment of power steering. The car has completed few miles since the rebuild and it has been very carefully preserved which has included treating all of the chrome to an annual coating of duck oil!. Suffice to say the chrome is near perfect including the chrome wire wheels. The body work paint is exceptionally good with a nice flat finish. The interior cabin has beige leather which is still in excellent condition as is the cloth hood. The underside of the car is all in very good order and we understand that the car was never taken out in the wet.

The car is fitted with a high torque starter motor and it starts and settles into tick over very quickly indeed. On the road the car pulls well and goes through the gears without issue. It is fitted with a working overdrive.

This is a really fine example of an MGB with possibly one of the best colour combinations. We recommend viewing at your earliest opportunity.
