I have owned this lovely NSX for seven years. It is a pure, unmolested example. Immediately after purchase, I took the car to Plans Performance, who carried out a mild re-fresh of the mechanical components (£5000 plus). The speedo was modified for mph, and the reading is currently 49,000, which I cannot verify. Since then, I have driven the car less than 1000 miles. Last month, a specialist carried out a full cam belt service, which included all lubricants, pulleys, tensioners, water pump and housing. He wrote a short report on the condition of the car, which he described as 'remarkable'.

A few months ago, the car was detailed, inside and out.

The car has an automatic gearbox (C-matic). The tyres are like new. As you will see from the photos, the interior is very nice, with all the leather in splendid condition.

You probably know that these cars were a technical 'tour de force': it is worth taking time to read about the details that Honda lavished on these cars in their quest to eclipse the Ferrari 308. Of course, it is a different animal to the Ferrari, but it certainly matches it for technical specification and eclipses the Ferrrai for build quality. Sodium filled valves, dynamic balancing of every moving parts, titanium con rods, light-weight aluminium structure, coil spring suspension, etc, etc. This is Honda engineering at its very best.

Of course, it is one of the hot investment cars at present. But buy it as I did, because it is such a delight to drive.
