The Porsche Taycan, which translates to 'Spirited Young Horse’ in Turkish, is Porsche's first fully electric vehicle after the highly praised Mission E concept. The Taycan offers a sleek, elegant and futuristic design in appearance, in keeping with other Porsche model features and harnesses technologies from the Le Mans-winning 919 race car, which becomes evident in the performance data.

The Taycan Turbo S executes a 0-62 time in a blistering time of only 2.8 seconds and will launch from a standstill to 99mph in 6.1. These figures are extremely impressive considering the Taycan Turbo S has a weight of around 2,370kg (unladen) due to the front and rear motors and batteries. Cornering speed is no issue either due to the batteries sitting low in the car, providing a low centre of gravity. The power steering is equally impressive and provides the driver with a direct feel to the road, providing you with the maximum level of confidence.
