Jaguar E Type series 1 roadster outside bonnet lock. Very rare Sherwood green with matching factory supplied hardtop, French grey soft top and Suede green interior. Chassis number 875333 is in its original colours and it retains its original engine all shown on the accompanying heritage certificate. Beautifully restored fifteen years ago to an amazing standard that is reflected in the stunning condition that it is in today, there are detailed receipts in the history file to show this. Various sympathetic upgrades were also included in the rebuild: Five speed gearbox, adjustable suspension, bigger front callipers, period seat belts and Blaupunkt push button radio, Wide rim stainless steel competition wire wheels, aluminium radiator with electric fan, and a full stainless steel sports exhaust and manifold. This beautiful E type needs to be seen and driven to be appreciated it really is a work of art, and it has been built to use comfortably as a continental tourer.
