This 2011 Porsche 997.2 Carrera GTS Cabriolet PDK looks stunning, finished in gleaming Basalt Black with black 19-inch RS Spyder centrelock wheels, clad in Pirelli PZero tyres.

The interior is also black, with hard-backed Sports seats. The Porsche has an enviable specification, including Sport Chrono Pack Plus (with optional black-faced Chronograph), cruise control, Park Assist, PCM with Bluetooth, automatic rear-view mirror, automatic wipers, switchable Sports exhaust, Litronic headlamps, and a 12-volt socket in the passenger footwell.

The GTS is a modern classic and a superb driver’s car. It’s essentially a 3.8-litre Carrera S uprated with the usually optional Powerkit which creates 408bhp. In addition, it boasts the wider rear track usually reserved for the Carrera 4, plus the aforementioned RS Spyder wheels. Inside, the GTS has a sporty cockpit, thanks to liberal use of Alcantara. Sideskirts, a different front spoiler and ‘Carrera GTS’ scripts on the doors and rump complete the transformation. It’s a superb package.

This low-mileage example boasts a well-documented service history. The last service was in February 2022 at 35,306 miles, when the car was treated to a laser wheel alignment, too. The next service isn’t now due until 2024.
