1988 RHD Ferrari Testarossa with 13,260 Miles

Widely regarded as one of the most iconic supercars of its era, the new Ferrari Testarossa caused a sensation at the time of its launch at the Paris Motorshow in 1984.

Despite the similarity of its flat-twelve engine layout, the new car bore very little in common with its 512 BBi predecessor. By keeping the original rear-mid engine configuration and rear wheel drive, Pininfarina showcased his most inspired and lateral thinking by increasing not only the length of the wheelbase but the width of the car to an incredible 1,976mm. In doing so, he then added the signature side strakes which as well as aiding cooling, would change car design forever.

Delivered to its first keeper by Maranello Sales Ltd. Egham on 1st August 1988, this excellent Ferrari Testarossa has covered a total of just 13,260 miles from new.

As one of just 438 examples produced in Right Hand Drive, the Testarossa was purchased by the current owner from Foskers in 2014 and has since formed part of a significant private collection. Finished in immaculate Rosso Corsa bodywork with Blue Scuro interior leather and carpets, the condition is as you would expect given an average of less than 400 miles per year.

The extensive service records comprise original order forms and bill of sale together with subsequent invoices and MOTs confirming the exceptionally low mileage. In addition, the original leather wallet containing owners manuals and service records together with the original tool kit are both present and complete.

A recent total recommissioning and full service have just been carried out by renowned independent Ferrari specialists Rardley Motors. As part of the full service, the engine was removed and together with replacement of cambelts, all hoses and ancillaries, new Michelin tyres were fitted prior to the latest MOT being completed at 13,246 miles on 23rd March 2023.
