2009 SMART (MCC) FORTWO COUPE

Park in spaces that other cars can only dream about in this 2009 SMART ForTwo Passion diesel. Registered in December 2009 and having covered just 68,000 miles from new, the car is finished in a not-unattractive shade of metallic grey with a complimentary charcoal interior, and is deceptively spacious inside - certainly a good friend of mine has had one of these as his daily driver for almost ten years now and has had no complaints with his. This particular model is the 0.8 litre turbo diesel, which against all expectation and common sense manages to sound exactly like the petrol equivalent - that is, rather like a demented sewing machine thrashing away! Don't be fooled, though - it's surprisingly nippy, and has the advantage of being able to be driven either as a clutch-less manual or in full automatic mode, depending on how the mood takes you. It's also phenomenally economical, being capable of almost 80mpg which is not to be sniffed at. It also qualifies for free road tax, which is a nice bonus, although it does unfortunately attract the clean air charge in Birmingham and Bristol and so it's probably not ideal if you either live in the city or travel there regularly. But all in all this is an ideal town or city runabout, which is in extremely good condition all round and can whizz through gaps with a surprising agility and turn of speed. Currently MOT'd until March 2024, although it can be supplied with a new ticket upon request, and a warranty is included in the screen price. Open to any inspection or trial.
