Jaguar XJ 5.0 V8 12 Months Service & MoT

Just service with 12 months MoT carried out by Jaguar specialist MGA Jaguar (see updated service record images). New brakes (disks and pads) fitted, coolant flush and changed as part of 21st January 2025 service. New battery fitted November 2024.

Without doubt the best car I have ever owned, only selling due to family requirements (3x child seat car).

Flagship Portfolio trim with Bowers & Wilkins sound system, rear passenger seat TVs for the integrated DVD player. 3x Jaguar WIFI headphones for the rear entertainment system, one pair is for the front passenger seat with the dual screen dashboard TV. Seamless sync with Bluetooth on my Android phone for Spotify, connects automatically when you turn on the ignition. Beautiful V8 rumble at low revs but really roars when you open up beyond 5000 rpm. I've had no issues with the car during ownership and have only added the Jaguar boot tray and swapped the paddle shifters for genuine Jaguar Aluminumum paddles, which are slightly larger and feel much nicer (original ones will be included).

I have had had a major service and recent interim service carried out by MGA Performance Car Specialist in Derby which are an independent service centre and highly regarded by XJ forum users. I questioned the mechanics at depth about the water pump as this is a major failing point and can be a sleeping dragon on low mileage examples (particularly the Japanese imports).
