AUDI TT ROADSTER QUATTRO (225BHP) MERLIN / BASEBALL / 13K SPENT IN 5 YEARS

It's time for me to part with my beloved TT Roadster.

Cambelt, waterpump, timing chain, vvt solenoid and pickup pipe swapped at Xmas before storage.

No advisory MOT 1k miles ago.

Summary:

‘Ruth’ (as in Babe Ruth because of the seats) has been source of real pleasure over the last 4 years. She has been a passion project since we got her in 2020. Our first convertible, we bought her with the refund from our cancelled covid holiday so that we could get out and about in the sun and to give me something to work on so I didn’t go cray cray. No expense has been spared on this car. I’ve got logs and receipts for everything and £13,001 has gone into her since 2020.

There is well in excess of £25k of receipts and invoices in the paperwork. I don’t really want to sell but emigration of my fiance and space forces some sensible decisions – she is at home with 4 other cars and only gets used in the summer for day trips.

Mechanically, electrically and interior wise she is about as good as you’re going to find. Even the engine is spotlessly steam cleaned. I’ll be honest, the paint is short of perfect but I'd say really good for a 24 year old car on original paint. There are a few tiny PDR'able shopping dings, the odd scratch, stone chips up front and the sill lips are just starting to go a bit crusty (cosmetic on the front arch lip not underneath it's all solid under there - check the MOTs). Don’t be in any doubt, she looks absolutely amazing from 2m away and is polished up and gtechniq coated but this is a car that I would spend some money on paint going forward to maintain this unicron spec and history car. Especially as she's eligible to be imported into the US next year and those lot go mad for decent mk1's!

I'd like to see £6k out of her and think she presents a great value buy at that. I know you can get low mileage ones for that but I'm pricing in rarity, history and condition. Most of anything worn by mileage has been replaced! I'm located near Chelmsford in Essex
