2000 LOTUS ELISE

A sad day to be selling a car I’ve had for over 20 years but due to a house move it’s no longer practical to keep the Elise any longer so there’s a great opportunity for someone new to experience the joy these cars will bring.

The car has done around 20,000 miles in the 20 years I’ve owned it and was serviced at HR Owen at first and then Bell and Covill, followed by the most recent ones at Caffyns Lotus. Due to a company car since 2011 the Elise was off the road and garaged for large parts of the last ten years hence the gap in servicing.

It’s all original apart from new the Bell and Covill exhaust as the Lotus original one had been discontinued and the headlights. It also comes with a mountain of paperwork and bills. It also has a working face off radio which was actually an option the original owner paid for and as well as the factory immobiliser it also has a tracker.

If you’re already looking for an early Elise you’ll know what kind of car it is and what it can do so there’s no need to explain how much fin these cars are to drive. There are the usual stone chips for a car of this age and one slightly bigger scuff on the rear drivers side wheel arch which is reflected in the price.

The interior does show sign of age but overall the car is is in decent condition and it’s never been on or even near a track!
