This fabulous BMW 850 is thought by many to be the forerunner of the modern Supercar. It was developed by BMW regardless of any cost restrictions as they wanted to have a flagship car that was as near perfect as it could for that time. The shape was totally dictated by wind tunnel testing and technologically it had every modern development that was available in the day. The result was the perfect shape that was more sculptural than anything that had been before and of course with the great V12 engine it went like the wind in supreme comfort.

The car was launched in Geneva in September 1989 to great acclaim. This vehicle was registered in January 1991 and purchased from the first owner by the current collector in 1999. The cost of the car when new was £63,000.00 and the original main dealer invoice is on file. When purchased by the current owner it had approximately 40,000 on the clock and during the current ownership it is now showing roughly a total of under 90,000 miles. So effectively a genuine 2 owner car that has only completed 90000 miles in 30 years. The car has always been maintained regardless of cost and always by BMW main dealers or BMW approved experts and is in totally fabulous condition in every way. Now of course a fast appreciating classic car without any doubt.
