EXTERIOR

Presented in Marine Blue, the car has benefitted from a full repaint in 2014 to a very high standard paintwork with only minor imperfections evidencing the car’s honesty, making this a very useable example to be driven and enjoyed. Both front and rear recoil bumpers are in excellent condition and rubbers replaced throughout . All lights clusters and rear reflector are without moisture, having been replaced through the current owners 17 year tenure. The body has has been subject to major restoration in 2014, with numerous panels replaced on either side (sills, B-pillar, front and rear fenders, front and rear bumpers and valances. More recently, the heat-exchangers have been replaced, as has the fuel tank support plate. The underside benefits from a waxoyl treatment. Suspension dampers have been replaced recently with Boge equipment.

INTERIOR

Inside, the coupe is fitted with linen( cream) leather seats. All seat bolsters are in superb condition throughout. The steering wheel has been undertaken refurbished at some point with strong stitching. All the switchgear still feels solid to operate and a Sony Bluetooth radio is fitted with new speaker system front and rear currently installed. The carpets are in good order throughout as are both leather door cards.

The car features a factory sliding electric moon roof. The hot and cold fans have undergone a recent refurbishment and now offer strong blast of cold air.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Under the bonnet you will find the original matching numbers engine. The car is not a daily driven, but has driven 3000 miles a year every year with the current owner, with fluids, plugs and filters changed each year. The desirable G50 gearbox is fitted, and feature a factory LSD. The engine bat is clean, with new ignition cables.

HISTORY FILE

This very smart 3.2 911 Carrera Sport was first registered in January 1987. The original Porsche document wallet, handbooks and service book are all present in the History File, spare key , a thick raft of invoices and MOT certificates dating back to the early 90s, and the current V5C registration document showing former keepers. The factory data stickers can still be found under the bonnet. Once owned by PCGB chairman, the car was once a concourse winner, and halfway through its 38 year live, featured as a buyers guide model in GT/Purely Porsche Magazine.

The current owner has maintained and used the car for 17 years, and in current condition overs a very usable classic, ready for any road trip.
