Mercedes 190 E 2.6 1988

The 2.6 M103 straight six was the biggest engine fitted to the 190E as standard. It generated over 160bhp & 228 NM of torque in a car which weighed under 1300kg. Original performance figures were 0-60 in just over 8 seconds and a top speed of over 130 mph.

I am the 5th owner of this car which has been subject to a partial restoration by a renowned MB specialist. It has been serviced on average every 6000 miles by a combination of MB dealers and MB independent specialists. Most recently in April 2025 at 102,000 miles.

The car has been professionaly lowered by Balance Motorsport and has Bilstein shocks with H & R springs. It sits on refurbished OEM option " Gullideckel" 15 inch alloys with 205/55 nearly new Falken tyres fitted all round. The interior is grey leather and it is embellished with wood door cappings, a Zebrano veneer kit and wooden steering wheel and gear selector. Original shock, springs and steering wheel will be included in the sale price.The car comes with 2 keys and comprehensive documentation.

I have owned the car for 3 years and done 20,000 or so miles to date. I need my garage to house an older less weatherproof car now so its a reluctant sale.
