Honda S2000 GT i-VTEC Roadster

We are very lucky to have acquired this incredibly special Honda S2000 GT here at Opposite Stock. Unlike the initial UK S2000, which were renowned for spikey and difficult handling traits on the limit, the facelifted MY04 S2000 benefitted from a number of upgrades including a change in ride height and a slight softening of the rear end, in addition to a brand-new colour option of Nurburgring Blue, changes to the interior and other subtle styling tweaks. Unlike the US AP2 cars, the UK cars retained the legendary 9000rpm, 2-litre power unit, which is mated to one of the sweetest 6-Speed manual gearboxes ever produced for any road car! Many see the MY04-05 cars as the pick of the bunch, with MY06 onwards having more electronic nannying and increased weight.The car we have here is a truly jaw-dropping example. It was sold to its second owner, Mr Dann, at a year old and this incredibly fastidious gentlemen and die-hard S2000 enthusiast cared for the car until mid-2017, when it was snapped up by a serious car collector who has had the car in an air-conditioned storage facility ever since. The car has been religiously started and run up to temperature on a monthly basis throughout this period but has not been out on the road. The incredible file of documented history we have for the car provides written evidence that the car has never been used in the wet since it was acquired by Mr Dann in 2005 and as a result its condition genuinely beggars belief. This car is 100% factory original, has never had paint, and the only parts it has ever had replaced are two tyres and a battery. Original sales receipt and every invoice is present evidencing its full service history at Honda main dealers and we even have the dealer windscreen hangers used to identify the car while it has been in for service.
