2014 CITROEN DS3

I purchased this last year as I needed a cheap reliable car to cover the 900-mile round trip to Ireland that we make several times a year (minimising the mileage put on to my M3 touring). We've now decided to move there permanently, so it's no longer required.

A friend of mine that runs a garage looked after it for the previous, elderly owner and it ended up being left on his premises for almost a year when he became ill, and could no longer drive. He then needed to sell it on, so I purchased it from him. As it had been parked up the battery was dead, so I fitted a decent new one, together with Bosch wiper blades. Apart from that it was fine, and has run like a Swiss watch since.

Very low mileage, great overall condition, and peanuts to run as it's VED exempt, averages 64 mpg around town (80 + on the motorway) and costs me £53 a year to insure on my Admiral MultiCar policy.

Well equipped with automatic lights, automatic wipers, digital cruise control, bluetooth (that connects perfectly to my Samsung Galaxy S25 and streams Spotify), auto-dimming rear-view mirror, climate control (air-con working just fine) etc.

Both keys present, together with original owners handbook etc.

Bad points are:

some wheels scuffed (but not damaged)

rear PDC plays up

it has a couple of minor bodywork blemishes

one of the folding mirrors doesn't

drivers footwell map could do with replacing

service history stops at 58,222 & 24/05/2022, so it will need servicing

It just sailed through it's MOT with no advisories (expires on 04/02/2026). It has four almost-new tyres, and the rear springs (fragile on these) have recently been replaced. My best friend is a mechanic and he put it up on the ramps to check underneath and everything is good, with recent brake discs & pads fitted etc. It has no rust.

I had a full (trade) HPI check carried out on it prior to purchase - nothing negative showed up.

£1,950 makes it the cheapest one for sale of this age/mileage by some margin.

Can be viewed in Camberley, Surrey as I work from home most of the time and if you're quick, it could come with a full tank of diesel!
