Cambridgeshire based Tiger Sportscars own the rights to the historic ERA brand (English Racing Automobiles), under which it produces the ERA 30

Roughly based on Colin Chapman/Frank Costin's legendary 1962/3 Sports Racer, the ERA 30 is a little larger but at 30", not much taller

This example was purchased directly from the factory in 2007 for £23,494 by two friends as a joint retirement present, with the intention of being used as a road car with occasional track day use

Powered by a standard Ford Zetec 1.8-litre Twin Cam with twin '45 Weber carbs with an ALPHA Ignition Management System, mated up to a right-hand change 5-speed Hewland box. Previously dyno-tested at around 140bhp at the wheels and weighing just 500kg, this is a quick car with 0-60mph in 4.82 seconds

The lightweight GRP combined with carbon is completed with a striking deep paint finish in the iconic Lotus colours. It sits on 15" Superlight split-rim wheels

Purchased by our vendor in 2020 and now showing just under 4,000 miles, it has been meticulously maintained as evidenced by the detailed invoices in the history file, along with previous MOTs
