RANGE ROVER CLASSIC VOGUE LSE(94) 1994
One of the last classic Range Rovers built with the dash from the, then incoming, Discovery.
Montpelier Red with grey leather, Cyclone Alloy wheels, Brooklands body kit and 4. 2L Rover V8 engine
Owned for the last 15 years and with copious amounts of work done by marque specialists Kingsley Cars, Lloyds Specialist Development and Southwest Rustproofing.
MOT April 26, no advisories. The dash mileage is somewhat irrelevant, it is a case of find a part that has done all those miles, very few (if any maybe) have.
It has underslung LPG tanks, so no intrusion into the boot space, but the car hasn't been run on LPG since the engine rebuild. Currently it uses the small petrol tank from the lpg conversion which gives a range of 50 miles around town and 70+ on a run. There is currently an unconnected open loop lpg system in place so it would be an option to update this to a closed loop single point system or revert back to petrol and replace the tanks with a new petrol tank.
Almost everyting works including the air suspension, seat ecu (rebuilt), sunroof and AC .
Radio replaced with Becker single din satnav unit from a Freelander. I'm a great fan of Becker stuff, the quality is excellent on the whole.
Vredestein Quatrac V all season tyres with plenty of tread.
This car was used for the LR Classic Parts advert in 2000 and is supposedly the Montpelier LSE used in the adverts for LR 2000, pic enclosed, but I have no actual evidence for this. It was used for the LR Enthusiast article in June 2004 and a copy is included. It has been owned by several members of the Range Rover Register over the years.
Used sparingly and only very infrequently in the rain since.
A full set of badges will accompany the car.
