1995 TOYOTA MR2

Welcome to the sale of my Toyota MR2 Revision 3 GT Turbo T-Bar

This is a 1995 (M reg) Car, imported in July 2002 In Toyota Dark Emerald Pearl (6M1).

The car was imported in 2002 from Japan and was converted to miles at that point. The actual mileage is around 98,000 miles but reads around 121,000 on the clock as it was converted at around 60,000kms.

Engine:

ST205 Gen 3 Turbo (original engine) rebuilt by Simon at YVS at 90k miles (£4250)

Manley 625+ H-Beam rods.

Wiseco Pistons

Cometic MLS Head gasket

ARP Studs (Rods & Head)

Complete overhaul of all gaskets (OEM)

New oil pump, waterpump, timing belt

Head rebuilt and cleaned

Blitz Dual SBC Boost Controller

AEM air filter and only ever used original Toyota OEM oil filters. Oil change was done every 4000 miles by previous owner

Upgraded intercooler

King bearings throughout

Turbo & Gearbox:

Standard CT20B Turbo rebuilt by Universal Turbos with an Inconel shaft, replaced wastegate spring and given a full overhaul.

Greddy Intercooler

NO FCD installed. This engine has only ever ran below fuel cut.

E153 LSD gearbox shifts well when warmed up with no crunching and no leaks.

Suspension & Wheels:

Front shocks are Bilstein

Rear shocks are standard turbo shocks

Original TRD springs front and rear.

Poly-bushed rear trailing arm/wishbone assembly.

ROTA Force 17's with 245/40s on the back and 225/40s on the front.

Maintenance undertaken prior to purchase in April 2022:

Brand new Handbrake cables

Brand new Radiator upfront

New Cancer bars

Brand new battery.

Gearbox driveshaft seal replaced

New coolant sensors, distributor cap, NGK leads and coil pack.

Since I have purchased the car I have done the following

May 2022 - Genuine Toyota discs and pads all round purchased from Main Dealer & 2 New rear calipers

Oil and filter genuine Toyota (has done around 500 miles since)

July 2022 - 4.5 Dual Tip Full Exhaust fitted by Flowtech Exhausts

September 2022 - Old alarm removed and Clifford Concept 450 with proximity sensors and turbo timer fitted

April 2023 - Two front calipers rebuilt

2024 - Full Glass out respray in original colour with all rust removed including sills and wheel refurbishment - just completed

April 2025 - Oil and Filter change with Genuine Toyota Filter, Brake Fluid Service, and New Alternator

This car has had everything done and needs nothing except to drive and enjoy. In this condition as an original Rev 3 GT Turbo it is rare. I estimate including the work I've had done it's had well over £15000 worth of engine and bodywork in the last few years but is now built internally and externally to last for many more years now.

The forged engine is ready to run 400+ bhp with the right hardware if you wish to go down that route but as it is the car drives very well, boosts nicely and is great fun to drive. It's been used only on warm days, and has been garaged continuously. This car is a headturner wherever it goes.
