Our Suzuki Alto has the ultra reliable 1.0 3 cylinder engine which benefit from a timing chain (not a cam belt) so no issues of cam belt changes as they get older. This coupled with around 60 - 70 MPG and only being in a very low insurance group make them ideal for all. Not only do first time drivers like them due to the safety, reliability, insurance and running costs, but they also cross over for the second car and even commuting.
