1999 TVR CHIMAERA

The time has come to sell my beloved 1999 TVR Chimaera 450. I have owned this car for the last 6 years and have enjoyed every second of driving this wonderful car. This particular Chimaera is fitted with a Steve Edwards removeable hard top which makes the car look very special as well as benefiting from improved weather protection and refinement. It is designed as a two-piece structure which allows the car to be driven with the centre targa panel removed individually, or as a full convertible with both panels detached. Both sections fit into the Chimaera’s boot. I have yet to see another one which must make this car quite rare.

The 450-engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox makes for an exhilarating driving experience with the exhaust notes from the V8 turning heads wherever you go.

Complete with a comprehensive service history at reputable TVR specialists including Sussex TVR – Horam for the last 6 years under my ownership with the last being a thorough 12,000 mile service.

The car is presented in Crystal Verde which looks amazing and is an unusual colour. Showing current milage of 61,060 miles. There are a few age-related scuffs and a small star crack on the bonnet but overall in great condition. MOT valid until October 2025. Original owners handbook with all service stamps and 2 keys.

A real pleasure to have owned this car but time for a new home as I don’t get a lot of time to enjoy it.
