The 328 is one of the most beautiful modern-era Ferraris and offers a sensible entry point to the illustrious brand.

Based on the 1970s 308 Series of Ferrari, the 328 took over in 1985 with modifications to the body, interior trim, chassis and engine. The car's sales success and comparative functionality, along with a positive reputation for reliability, and manageable ownership costs helped elevate the 328 as one of the most sought-after models to come out of Maranello.

The most significant transformation over the original was the installation of the fuel-injected 3.2L Tipo F105CB V8 engine, helping to rectify the original car's criticism for a lack of power. Transversely mounted just behind the passenger seats, the mid-engine layout gave the car a superbly balanced road-holding ability. Housed in an appealing hand-built Pininfarina-styled galvanised steel body within an oval-shaped tubular steel frame, the 328 GTB is a surprisingly rare version of the model, with just 130 RHD models built.

This 1987 right-hand-drive example has a smart exterior presentation with a tan leather interior and black leather dashboard, it comes with a current MOT valid until November this year and recently had nearly £5k spend in April, including fresh cam belts. The car has an excellent history file from its time in the UK and has a few areas a new owner may want to improve over time.
